Initial Deployment Lyrics

Wake up, the walls have softened up
(My foxhole's filling up with mud)
Please come, save meWe dug this hole, we made it safe
(Yet now, you're staring down at me)
I'll keep reaching, I won't give up
(Because to me it means that much)Still fighting these battles in our words
Still fighting these battles in our whispersWe're fighting wars in our words
In our whispers, so soft they can't be heard
This battle has been lost
This war cannot be wonDiscard every word I said
(And I'll still love you just the same)
Clear out my headThis world is breaking all around
(Still you refuse to make a sound)
I'm not breathing, please lift me nowDo something, call out 'Man down'
Pay for your treason, your betrayal
Live in exile for fighting wars like whispersNow how do you plead?

A noble attribute often ascribed to professional athletes is their ability to play with pain. That certainly applies to the fiery Seattle hardcore rock band On The Last Day. Consider this particular road hazard: They were playing in Charleroi, PA this last tour, singer Geoff Walker recalls. And right at the end of Leaving The Citadel bassist Aaron Johnson's headstock and Geoff's face crossed paths. "He hit me and all I remember was thinking, That's gonna bleed." He awoke a minute later to Justin handing him a towel and a river of blood meandering across the stage from his nose.
