Into You Deep Lyrics

Hey you, where are you going?
You're not leaving me today
Hey you, what are you doing?
Put your things down and stayYou should go, you should leave
But without you where would I be
You can run, you can hide
Girl I know I'll never find someone like youAnd I owe you like the rain owes dirt
And I owe you like the love owes hurt
Heart's like the mob
And I'm willing to pay you back every dimeI'm into you deep
Just give me time, a way I'll find
I'm into you deep
One more week at leastI'm into you deep
Can you take half for now?
I'm into you deep
I wanna pay you back the love you gave meHey you, what are you doing?
Can't you see I'm not fighting you today?
Hey you, what are you saying?

There's no such thing as separate waysYou should go, you should leave
But without you, where would I be
You can run, you can hide
Girl I know I'll never find someone like youAnd I owe you like the rain owes dirt
And I owe you like the love owes hurt
Heart's like the mob
And I'm willing to pay you back every dimeI'm into you deep
Just give me time, a way I'll find
I'm into you deep
One more week at leastI'm into you deep
I'm into you deep
I wanna pay you back the love you gave meI'm into you, I'm into you
I'm into you, I'm into you
I'm into youThe love director's calling this a wrap
And our movie is half way through the credits
And I just wanna skip the first
Rewind back to the beginningI know my character's been the villain
And your power of love deserves equal
Please cast me back in the sequelI owe you like the rain owes dirt
And I owe you like the love owes hurt
You're half the mob and I, I wanna pay you back
Every dime, every cent, every piece of love you gaveJust give me time
A way I'll find
I'm into you deep
One more week at least

Lionel Brockman Richie, Jr. (born June 20, 1949 in Tuskegee, Alabama) is an American R&B singer, songwriter, composer, and occasional actor. He got his start as the front man for the Commodores, a nationally popular Motown band during the 70's. They had several hits such as Easy, Three Times a Lady, and probably the Commodores' most famous hit, Brick House.

Richie quit the band in 1981 for a solo career. He released his self-titled debut in 1982. The album hit No. 3 on the charts and sold over 4 million copies. His follow up album, Can't Slow Down, sold over twice as many copies and won the Grammy for Album of the Year in '84. His third album, '86's Dancing On The Ceiling spawned such hits as Say You, Say Me, Dancing on the Ceiling, and Se La, but would be the end of his commercial success.

His 90's albums such as Back to Front, Louder Than Words, and Time all failed to achieve the previous decade's commercial success. Some of his recent work, such as the album Renaissance, has returned to his older style, hoping to achieve more success.
