Up All Night Lyrics

So I found me a little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She told me, “Don't be so uptight”
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
I found me a pretty little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She says, she gonna make things all right
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
I'm in Brazil, where the scene is so fire
Where the girls and trees can get hotter
Everything that I see, it talks to me
Can't believe how the girls be walking
I've been here about an hour they keep saying, “Come talk to me”
I keep thinking there's one and they say us three
Standing there getting out of the shower
Turning around showing me the thing got power

Started to converse and I sense a problem
And I'm thinking girl, I can always solve them
But she didn't want to hear it
She says, she is all mine and I can make him feel it
All along I was thinking it was gonna be her plus two
Now they're looking like Lionel the joke's on you
Next thing I'm feeling is her up and down
While the girls are watching
So I found me a little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She told me, “Don't be so uptight”
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
I found me a pretty little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She says, she gonna make things all right
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
I thought there ain't a thing I ain't seen
Until she pulled out a banner for me
She said, “Whatever you want”
I know I needed a little vacation
But now I may never go home
So I found me a little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She told me, “Don't be so uptight”
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
I found me a pretty little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She says, she gonna make things all right
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
I thought that there ain't a thing I ain't seen
Until she pulled out a banner for me
She said, “Whatever you want”
I know I needed a little vacation
But now I may never go home
I'm in Brazil, where the scene is so fire
Where the girls and trees can get hotter
Everything that I see, it talks to me
Can't believe how the girls be walking
I've been here about an hour they keep saying, “Come talk to me”
I keep thinking there's one and they say us three
Standing there getting out of the shower
Turning around showing me the thing got power
So I found me a little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She told me, “Don't be so uptight”
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
I found me a pretty little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She says, she gonna make things all right
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
So I found me a little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She told me, “Don't be so uptight”
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
I found me a pretty little thing
Wanna keep me up all night
She says, she gonna make things all right
She wanna keep me up all night
Damn, she might kill me
Damn, she might kill me

Lionel Brockman Richie, Jr. (born June 20, 1949 in Tuskegee, Alabama) is an American R&B singer, songwriter, composer, and occasional actor. He got his start as the front man for the Commodores, a nationally popular Motown band during the 70's. They had several hits such as Easy, Three Times a Lady, and probably the Commodores' most famous hit, Brick House.

Richie quit the band in 1981 for a solo career. He released his self-titled debut in 1982. The album hit No. 3 on the charts and sold over 4 million copies. His follow up album, Can't Slow Down, sold over twice as many copies and won the Grammy for Album of the Year in '84. His third album, '86's Dancing On The Ceiling spawned such hits as Say You, Say Me, Dancing on the Ceiling, and Se La, but would be the end of his commercial success.

His 90's albums such as Back to Front, Louder Than Words, and Time all failed to achieve the previous decade's commercial success. Some of his recent work, such as the album Renaissance, has returned to his older style, hoping to achieve more success.
