It's a Life Lyrics

It's a life, working lanes with his wife
Hand in hand, they both work at the alley
With an arcade in the back
Where the young are the restless on the set
The cameras are hot, the tape hasn't stopped
Since the scene at the diner, two on twoLots of pink, baby blue
And a name sewn on to a la shirt
With a loop, collar flat, two on twoHow they lived, in a shack
It was shot in the back of the lot
Where the curtains are drawn
And the wheels are all blocked
TV's on, engine's off, waking up
Hand in hand to the set at the alleyLots of pink, baby blue
And a name sewn on to a la shirt
With a loop, collar flat, two on two

Park Ave. was an indie pop group from Omaha, Nebraska. It was formed in 1996. All of the members contributed vocals, as well as playing an instrument. The line up included: Clark Baechle and Jamie Williams on guitars, Conor Oberst on drums, Neely Jenkins on bass guitar, and Jenn Bernard on keyboards. Prior to forming the band, none of the female members knew how to play their instrument , and Clark was a drummer whilst Conor had been playing guitar since a very young age. Park Ave's existence was short: two and a half years and 15 performances, yet still have a significant fanbase.
