Lost Dreams Lyrics

It's always deep in my mind
It only happens in my imagination
So tell me how could it be
Well, I've been waiting to see my destinationSo, tell me is it for real
Is everything that I feel, a fascination?
Why don't you give me a sign?
Somebody throw me a line, to my salvationThey never heard you, they never came
I don't know what it means
They never call you, it's such a shame
But it's not what it seems
They never hear you, they are the lost dreams
If you will seek, you will find
How come the sun never shines
Inside the blue room
Feel like I've been running blind
Sometimes I break down and cry
Out in the gray gloomMaybe it's just fantasy
You know, you gotta believe

Is all that matters
You gotta give to receive
Or else you find that your life
Is torn and shatteredThey never heard you, they never came
I don't know what it means
They never call you, it's such a shame
But it's not what it seems
They never hear you, they are the lost dreams
So, tell me is it for real
Is everything that I feel, a fascination?
Why don't you give me a sign?
Somebody throw me a line, to my salvationThey never heard you, they never came
I don't know what it means
They never call you, it's such a shame
But it's not what it seemsThey never heard you, they never came
I don't know what it means
They never call you, it's such a shame
But it's not what it seems
They never heard you, they are the lost dreams
They are the lost dreams
They are the lost dreamsThey are the lost dreams
Time is shattered
Imagination
They are the lost dreams

Hughes Turner Project (HTP) was a musical project formed in the 2001 by bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes (formerly of Deep Purple, Trapeze and Black Sabbath) and vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (formerly of Deep Purple, Rainbow and Yngwie Malmsteen). Long time friends Glen Hughes and Joe Lynn Turner had first planned to release an album together in 1989, the two got together and wrote some demos, but nothing ended up being released from these sessions. In 2000 Hughes toured Japan with Turner, followed by joint appearances during the Voices of Classic Rock tour in 2001.
