Lost at Sea Lyrics

I was a boat driftin’ out into the sea
I had nothing but pieces of thoughts of the hope
That you would see me
I was a stone’s throw away from land
But thousands and thousands of miles away
From reaching your hand
The waves they crashed upon the rocks that you
Were trying to walk along
And in my head I heard them play a song for you and me
The waves they crashed upon the rocks that you
Were trying to walk along
And in my head I heard them play a song for you and me
Let’s get lost at sea
Where they will never find us
Got stars at night to guide us
Get lost at sea
Where they will never find us

Got stars at night to guide us

Enjoy the lyrics !!!
During the winter of 2002, Marc Hannon and Stuart Irwin met for the first time and discussed forming a band. Unfortunately, they didn’t meet again until over a year later, but on the same day as being reintroduced they made their first recording together.

By the following month they were performing together live as The Great Northwestern Hoboes around the city of Liverpool when, one fine mid-summers evening, they were watched by a familiar looking stranger, Robbie Taylor, in a basement on the outskirts of town. Robbie joined the band and in a matter of weeks they were playing live as a three-piece, using an old disused house for rehearsals.

The line-up was completed when Nick Walker joined on drums in October of the same year and only month later, after a handful of gigs, they were signed up by Viper Records to release two singles, Between Catharine and Hope and Change Your Tune. Both singles received excellent reviews and were broadcast on national and local radio, throughout Europe and across the Atlantic. Subsequently they were one of very few Liverpool bands chosen to perform for BBC Radio 2’s fringe events which were held in the city.

In 2007, they continue to build up a local following while venturing to play various venues throughout the UK. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
