Lovebird Lyrics

She kissed me ,while I was sleeping
Goodbye in her eyes
She knew the spell had broken
It came as no surprise. You win some, you lose some
Lady Luck has just run out on you
A new day is coming up
The black night is almost through. As the door closed behind her
I opened my eyes
The pillow was empty
It came as no surprise.Fly away lovebird
You're learning to fly
Now the winter, is over
So am I, so am I.Fly away lovebird
You're learning to fly
Now the winter, is over
So am I, so am I.(Guitar Solo)You win some, you lose some
Lady Luck has just run out on you
A new day is coming up

The black night is almost through.A letter on the table
With nothing much inside
Just a note saying so long
And thanks for the ride.Fly away lovebird
You just learned to fly
Now the winter is over
So am I, so am IFly away lovebird
You just learned to fly
Now the winter is over
So am I, so am I..
