Meditation (Meditacao) Lyrics

In my loneliness when you're gone and I'm all by myself
An' I need your caress, I just think of you
And the thought of you holding me near
Makes my loneliness soon disappear
Though you're far away
I have only to close my eyes and you are back to stay
I just close my eyes and the sadness missing you brings
Soon is going and this heart of mine sings
Yes, I love you so and that for me is all I need to know
I will wait for you 'til the sun falls out of the sky
For what else can I do?
I will wait for you meditating how sweet life will be
When you come back to me
I will wait for you, meditating how sweet life will be
When you come back to me

Became these quiet nights of loving you
I will wait for you 'til the sun falls out of the sky
For what else can I do?
I will wait for you meditating how sweet life will be
When you come back to me
Come back to me

* Born 13 June 1917, Waterbury, Connecticut
* Died 24 February 2008, New York City, New York The busiest reed man of the space age pop era, Phil Bodner played on many of the albums recorded in New York studios between the mid-1950s and early 1970s. The bigger challenge may be to find recordings he's not on. Bodner was one of the mainstays of Enoch Light's Command label, along with Tony Mottola, Dick Hyman, Doc Severinson, and Phil Kraus, the anchorman of RCA's Living Jazz series, and the leader of the successful now sound instrumental group, The Brass Ring.
