Meet Me in the Night Lyrics

Somebody's calling out your secret name
And your window's being kissed by stones
Baby can you hear my silent serenade
When I'm standing in the dark aloneWe could never show, and we could never tell
'Bout the wildfire in our veins
Crashing down the doors and breaking all the spells
'Till nothing but the love remainsColours clash, colours fly, colours bleed when the tears run dry
Colours run, but they can't hide, still we gotta tryMeet me in the night, baby say a prayer
We will never lose our way
Meet me in the night, say that you'll be there
Never fade away
Flying through the chill of the Ohio night
Their laughter echoes in the air
Drive across the river to the other side
Nobody will know us thereColours clash, colours fly, colours bleed when the tears run dry
Colours run, but they can't hide, still we gotta tryMeet me in the night, baby say a prayer
We will never lose our way
Meet me in the night, say that you'll be there

Never fade awayMeet me in the night, baby say a prayer
We will never lose our way
Meet me in the night, say that you'll be there
Never fade awayMeet me in the night, say that you'll be there
Never fade away
Meet me in the night, say that you'll be there
Never fade away
Meet me in the night, say that you'll be there
Meet me in the night, baby say a prayer
Meet me in the night, say that you'll be there
Meet me in the night, baby say a prayerMeet me in the night...

Tyketto were an American heavy rock band of the 1990s who never achieved the success they felt they deserved. The group was put together in 1987 by former Waysted vocalist Danny Vaughn. Brooke St James (Guitar), Jimi Kennedy (Bass) and Micheal Clayton (Drums) completed the lineup. By 1990 the band had signed to Geffen Records, and released their debut album "Don't Come Easy". Musically, it was somewhere between Whitesnake and Bon Jovi, with Tyketto opening for the former on many bills. However, the rise of the 'grunge' sound in 1991 saw Tyketto's hopes of the big breakthrough begin to recede.
