More Of This Lyrics

Sometimes I feel there's nothin' I can do
To make up for my wrongs to you
Should I drive along nowI wish I had more of this, less to miss
Now is the right time, swing the base
And sing the praises of the love so fineIt won't be long before I have to leave
Knowing that I could use more time alone with you
That just might carry me throughYou could've said no
I have expected so
But instead you understood
Time waits for no manI wish I had more of this, less to miss
Now is the right time
Our love is more than enough
To calm my troubled mindIt won't be long before I have to leave
Knowing that I could use more time alone with you
That just might carry me throughMore of this, less to miss
Now is the right time to swing the base
And sing the praises of the love so fineIt won't be long before I have to leave
Knowing that I could use more time alone with you

That just might carry me throughIt won't be long before I have to leave
Knowing that I could use more time alone with you
That just might carry me throughIt won't be long before I have to leave
Knowing that I could use more time alone with you
That just might carry me throughIt won't be long before I have to leave
Knowing that I could use more time alone with you
That just might carry me throughIt won't be long before I have to leave
Knowing that I could use more time alone with you

Vetiver is an American folk band headed by songwriter Andy Cabic and often joined by Devendra Banhart, cellist Alissa Anderson, and violinist Jim Gaylord. They released their debut album Vetiver in 2004 on the small indie folk label DiCristina. Since the album's release Vetiver has toured extensively, opening for and collaborating with Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom. Before moving to San Francisco Cabic was a member of the North Carolina indie rock band The Raymond Brake who released some records on the now-defunct Simple Machines label.
