Santa Baby Lyrics

Santa baby, just slip a sable under the tree, for me
Been an awful good girl
Santa baby, hurry down the chimney tonightSanta baby, a fifty-four convertible too, light blue
I'll wake up for you dear
Santa baby, hurry down the chimney tonightThink of all the fun I've missed
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed
Next year I could be just as good
If you'd check off my Christmas listSanta baby, I want a yacht and really that's not a lot
Been an angel all year
Santa baby, hurry down the chimney tonightSanta honey, one little thing I really need, the deed
To a platinum mine
Santa baby, hurry down the chimney tonightOoh
Santa cutie, I'll fill my stocking with a duplex, and checks
Sign your 'X' on the line
Santa baby, hurry down the chimney tonightCome and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's
I really do believe in you
Let's see if you believe in me tooSanta baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring

I don't mean a phone
Santa baby, hurry down the chimney tonightHurry down the chimney tonight
Oh yeah
Hurry down the chimney tonight

Macy Gray (born Natalie McIntyre September 6, 1967) from Canton, Ohio is a Grammy Award winning neo soul/R&B singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. To date, Macy has released five studio albums, one compilation album and a live album. She has acted in a number of movies including Training Day, Idlewild, and Lackawanna Blues, Gray is best known for her international hit single "I Try", taken from her multi-platinum debut album On How Life Is. Other hits include "Sweet Baby," "Do Something," "When I See You," and "Beauty in the World."

Macy Gray was originally hesitant to record a studio album due to what is, arguably, her most recognizable feature -- her voice. She started her music career as a songwriter. Her first album was actually a mistake; she was at the studio waiting for the person who was supposed to be singing her song, and the producer wanted to hear what one of the songs was supposed to sound like. Once she started singing, the producer liked the rough sound of her voice so much he offered her a record deal.
