Shari Ann Lyrics

Shari AnnShari Ann, you don't have to try to make me blue
'Cause you know you can, it comes so natural to youYou got the power, you got the mind
You got the skills, baby, I ain't lyin'
They way you walk, the way you flirt
Your baby talk could get a grown man hurtWell, I might be wastin' my time
But I know I'm losing my mindShari Ann, you don't have to try to make me blue
'Cause you know you can, it comes so natural to you
Shari Ann, you don't have to play so hard to get
'Cause I'm just a man, but honey, I'm the match you never metDo you understand what I'm goin' through
I'm in love with you, yeahI'll be your rock, babe, I'll be your rock 'n' roll
I'll be the serenade for your soul
You're non-stop strong, comin' on
You can carry me, Shari Ann, come on, babyShari Ann, you don't have to play so hard to get
'Cause I'm just a man, baby, I'm the match you never metShari Ann

Bryan White was born February 17, 1974 in Lawton, Oklahoma. In the mid 1990s, when Bryan was only in his early twenties, he quickly became one of country music's hottest young stars earning number one singles on the Billboard country chart with his songs "Someone Else's Star" and "Rebecca Lynn" from his debut album. "I'm Not Supposed to Love You Anymore" reached fourth, and then he had numbers with "So Much For Pretending" and "Sittin' On Go" from his second album. Although one critic labelled Bryan's first two albums as "surprisingly mature", it was mainly teen fans which helped launch his success. The first issue of Teen Country magazine was devoted solely to him.
