Since I Met You Baby Lyrics

I used to wake up in the mornin' with an achin' head
I couldn't remember anything I'd said
My friends told me, I was gettin' out of line
If it wasn't for you baby, I'd be doin' time
Since I met you, baby
You've made a new man of me
Since I met you, baby
I'm happy as a man could be
I used to think, I was better than the rest
Ain't no doubt about it, I was no second best
Didn't seem to matter what was right or what was wrong
I did some crazy things before you came along
Since I met you, baby
You've made a new man of me
Since I met you, baby
Happy as a man could be
Yea
Since I met you, baby

(Since I met you, baby)
Since I met you, baby
(Since I met you, baby)
Since I met you, baby
(Since I met you, baby)
Since I met you, baby
(Since I met you, baby)
Since I met you, baby
I'm happy as a man could be
Yea
Since I met you, baby
(Since I met you, baby)
Since I met you, baby
(Since I met you, baby)
Since I met you, baby
(Since I met you, baby)
Since I met you, baby
(Since I met you, baby)
Since I met you, baby
Happy as a man could be
That's right
Happy as a man could be
Thank you
Thank you

There were at least four groups who used this name: 1) An American do0-wop group whose biggest hit was "Baby" in 1957. 2) A British pop music vocal group, composed of Valerie Murtagh (born 1936, Willesden, London) and Elaine Murtagh, (born 1940, County Cork, Eire) and they were originally known on stage as 'The Avon Sisters'. They then added Raymond S. Adams (born 1938, Jersey, Channel Islands), and changed their name to 'The Avons'. 3) Another UK group formed in the 1980s.
