Sleight Of Hand Lyrics

Hello, how are you?
I think I'm fine, I've just been dying
Out of touch, a little numb
I'm always hurt but I'm surviving
I was full of pride when I looked inside
Sometimes I'd like to laugh but I love to cry
With the words that you say, all the games that you play
You have always been the reason that I get this way
(Chorus)
You taught me never to hesitate
You realized too late
You would need a super-hero to take my place
All the times you tried,
Never thought you would lie
Was it fun or was it more?
Not today, not that way,
That's not the way that it should be
Out of love, out of hate,

Out of everything you could never be
I was full of pride when I looked inside
Sometimes I'd like to laugh but I love to cry
With the words that you say, all the games that you play
You have always been the reason that I get this way
(Chorus)
You taught me never to hesitate
You realized too late
You would need a super-hero to take my place
All the times you tried,
Never thought you would lie
Was it fun or was it more?
You taught me never to hesitate
You realized too late
You would need a super-hero to take my place
All the times you tried,
Never thought you would lie
Was it fun or was it more?
That's more than I could take
I'm just not made that way, way
I'd give it all back for one chance to be beside you
I'd give it all back for one, one chance to guide you
I'd give it all back for another chance for you to save me...save me
(Chorus)
You taught me never to hesitate
You realized too late
You would need a super-hero to take my place
All the times you tried,
Never thought you would lie
Was it fun or was it more?
You taught me never to hesitate
You realized too late
You would need a super-hero to take my place
All the times you tried,
Never thought you would lie
Was it fun or was it more?
Was it more?
Was it more?
Was it more?
