Some Kind Of Home Lyrics

Your too much
You'll take any more than you'll have to
Have you lost touch
With the ones you adore and sought after
And you don't know why
Yeah, they put a bullet through your heart
And told you not to cry
You know life should be beautiful
So come on out the shadows for whileI wanna know where you go
When your dreaming
I wanna see what you see
With your eyes closed
And when it all goes down
Then we'll
Have a place to run
Cause I don't know when I can't tell
What your thinkingSo we'll just drive
In the night

Till we find
Some kind of homeI swear I never mentioned this to anyone
So go on you can tell me what it is
You see I am barely hanging on to you
And the way I feel yeah somethings got to giveI wanna know where you go
When your dreaming
I wanna see what you see
With your eyes closed
And when it all goes down
Then we'll
Have a place to run
Cause I don't know when I can't tell
What your thinkingSo we'll just drive
In the night
Till we find
Some kind of home? You'll find enough to walk a line in pieces?
You don't have to do this on your own
??
You don't have to do this aloneI wanna know where you go
When your dreaming
I wanna see what you see
With your eyes closed
And when it all goes down
Then we'll
Have a place to run
Cause I don't know when I can't tell
What your thinkingSo we'll just drive
In the night
Till we find
Some kind of homeI wanna know where you go
When your dreaming
I wanna see what you see
With your eyes closed
And when it all goes down
Then we'll
Have a place to run
Cause I don't know when I can't tell
What your thinkingYeah
Some kind of home

Thriving Ivory derives its creative energy from great rock predecessors such as Queen, Guns’n’Roses, U2 and Elton John. At the same time, they maintain a modern rock edge lending them accessibility to fans of acts like Coldplay, Gavin DeGraw and Maroon 5. Pianist and songwriter Scott Jason is the founding member and co-producer of Thriving Ivory. He met Clayton Stroope -the band’s charismatic lead singer- while the two were students at U.C. Santa Barbara.
