Sometimes Lyrics

You were on the way out, I was in the wrong
You were slowly singing lyrics to a song
I just want to be everything you need all the time
Sometimes, sometimesTime passed it wasn't hard to see that the best for you
Is always the worst for me you know, we only work when you're away.
And I couldn't see the good in your high and lows
I was the first to give, always the last to know about the truth
The lies, the hardest years of our lives
You were so quick to let it go.You were on the way out, I was in the wrong
You were slowly singing lyrics to a song
I just want to be everything you need all the time
It was hard to see, feelings were so strong
I couldn't feel your flame because your fire was gone
I don't want to be everything you need all the time
Stay close just to make it through all the walls you built
Over the lines you drew. No longer fit in your embrace.
And it wasn't just the way that you always need to be in control
Or talking down to me. It's the truth, the lies,

The way you kept my hands tied. I just had to let you goYou were on the way out, I was in the wrong
You were slowly singing lyrics to a song
I just want to be everything you need all the time
It was hard to see, feelings were so strong
I couldn't feel your flame because your fire was gone
I don't want to be everything you need all the time
SometimesI couldn't feel your flame because your fire was gone
And I was gone.
You were on the way out, I was in the wrong
You were slowly singing lyrics to a song
I just want to be everything you need all the time
It was hard to see, feelings were so strong
I couldn't feel your flame because your fire was gone
I don't want to be everything you need all the time
