Spell Lyrics

What's left to discover
By now I've seen it all
Live the same day over and over
The world's become so smallSlipping by the second
Deeper into gray
Until I look into your eyes
And until you say my name, never the sameUnder your spell, you mystify me
After the world runs out of magic
Give me something to believeI'm under your spell, you mystify me
After the world gives up on magic
You'll be the one I still believeStarving for the real thing
Sick of shams and lies
You up here, a dose of lightning
Opening up the sky before my eyesUnder your spell, you mystify me
After the world runs out of magic
Give me something to believeI'm under your spell, you mystify me
After the world gives up on magic
You'll be the one I still believe

I still believe, yeahMake my heart starts beating
The sun and the moon collide
Stars will fall out in the streets when
When I see you tonightI'm under your spell, you mystify me
After the world runs out of magic
Give me something to believeI'm under your spell, you mystify me
After the world gives up on magic
You'll be the one I still believeUnder your spell, I'm under your spell
Under your spell, under your spell

The Bridgewater, NJ-based hardcore band Shades Apart formed in 1988, comprising singer/guitarist Mark V., bassist Kevin Lynch and drummer Ed Brown. After releasing their self-titled debut later that year on the Wishingwell label, the trio fell silent before resurfacing in 1992 with the Sunspot EP Dude Danger; another label change, this time to Skene, followed for the 1993 EP Neon. All members Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton produced Shades Apart's next LP, 1995's Save It, which scored a minor hit with its punked-up cover of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love.
