Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye Lyrics

Kiss me each morning
For a million yearsHold me each evening
By your sideTell me you love me
For a million, a million yearsAnd then if it don't work outAnd then if it don't work outThen you can tell me
GoodbyeSweeten my coffee
With a morning kissSoften my dreams
With your sighTell me you love me
For a million, a million yearsAnd then if it don't work out
And then if it don't work out
Then you can tell me
GoodbyeIf you must go
I won't grieve
just wait a life-time before you leave
Pleasethen if you must go
I won't Tell you "no
Just so we can say that we triedTell me you love me, for a million, just a million yearsAnd then if it don't work out
and then if it don't work out
Then you can tell me goodbye

Then you can tell me... goodbyeYou can tell me goodbye, goodbye

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Bettye Swann (born Betty Jean Champion, October 24, 1944, Shreveport, Louisiana) is an American soul music singer, best known for her 1967 hit song "Make Me Yours". She grew up in Arcadia, Louisiana, one of 14 children, and moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1963. Although some sources state that she was in a vocal group known as The Fawns who recorded for Money Records in 1964, she has refuted this, saying that she sang with a trio in Arcadia by that name.
