Through The Pain (she Told Me) Lyrics

Can you feel me? Can you touch me?
Can you trust me? Can you love me?
I need you, Rio, talk to 'em
I could tell how you doubted me
I knew my heart was broken and so empty
Even though my girl was next to me
She didn't see, I do believe
That you wanna come and rescue me
If you read my mind, I've set you a place
I wonder if our trust will be
In time, we'll see, she told me
She told me, she showed me
But she hurt me and she loved me the same
Has anybody ever made you feel that way?
And could you really love her through the pain?
When I don't wanna feel this way
I got too many bills to pay
Been hangin' on Patron all day

Mind in a maze, blowin' on haze
I can't function, it gotta be somethin'
That you doin' that got me unconscious
All this money, this fame, this fire
How could I feel this empty inside?
I've been thinkin' 'bout givin' up
But there's somethin' inside me that is holdin' on
When we don't know who's right or wrong
We still stay strong, keep movin' on
And I promise I will never leave
Now would you do the same for me?
I wonder if our trust will be
In time, we'll see, she told me
She told me, she showed me
But she hurt me and she loved me the same
Has anybody ever made you feel that way?
And could you really love her through the pain?
Fine as hell, fly as Chanel
But will it last? Only time will tell
When love is real and what I mean is
There's not enough words to explain the meanin'
And what I'm sayin' is all I need is
For you to understand how beautiful she is
And all it takes is a little faith
And no matter the situation, in my heart you'll stay
I'll always be your friend
You'll always be my girl
I'll never let it end
For nothin' in the world
'Cause no one else can do
The things you do
You make me feel so warm and new
So would you stay with me?
She told me, she showed me
But she hurt me and she loved me the same
Has anybody ever made you feel that way?
And could you really love her through the pain?
Thank you for showin' me how to love
Thank you for showin' me
Girl, you mean the world to me
Just a little more than I can see
Breaks us down, we'd stay together
Only we can hustle who ever
Would you come and go with me
To fulfill our fantasies?
Take me by my hand, my dear
Promise me you won't have no fear
She told me, she showed me
But she hurt me and she loved me the same
Has anybody ever made you feel that way?
And could you really love her through the pain?
Why would you ever, ever hurt me?
When you know I, I would never hurt you
Baby, never, what you hear is, I got a feelin'
We 'bout to have another fight
I was hopin' for once, we could have a good night
If you love me, why don't you show it?
If you need me, why don't you show it?
I've been givin' you my all, givin' you my
I've been givin' you my all, my all, my
What you been givin' in return in love?
What you been givin' in return in love?

("Diddy" is a name being used by two different artists - Richard Dearlove [UK] and Sean Combs [US].

Richard Dearlove is a London-based musical artist best know for his hit single "Give Me Love" (#23 in the UK Charts). He also constructed worldwide smash remixes of Blondie's Atomic (#19 UK, #1 US Billboard), Heart of Glass (#15 UK) and Union City Blue. He has worked with a long list of artists such as Robert Palmer, Marianne Faithful, Dolly Parton, Alan Thompson, Steve Thomas, Wayne G, Republica, The Sugababes, Tall Paul, Andy Allder, The Tyrell Corporation, Rachel Auburn, Aetherius, MC Kinky, Blu Peter, Nusta and Donna Summer.

Dearlove is a popular DJ at a popular gay club called Megawoof! in London, and runs the record labels "Resident Records" and "Megawoof Records" along with DJ Daz Saund. He is currently working with UK rapper Rob FT as well as the San Francisco Opera.

Sean John Combs is an American musical artist best known for his top 40 rap songs and collaborations. He is also known for his penchant for changing his name quite often. Previously, he's been known as "Puff Daddy", "P. Diddy", "Sean John", "Puff", and "Puffy".

Combs runs the record label Bad Boy Records, the clothing lines Sean John and Sean by Sean Combs, a movie production company, and two restaurants. He has taken the roles of recording executive, producer of reality TV, writer, arranger, clothing designer, and actor.

In August 2005, Sean Combs adopted the stage name "Diddy". Dearlove had used the stage name "Diddy" commercially since 1993. In 2006, after attempting to resolve the name conflict with Combs' management, Dearlove successfully filed suit against Combs. The terms of the amicable settlement ordered Combs to pay Dearlove "significant damages" and barred him from releasing music under the name "Diddy" in the UK.
