U Get On My Nerves Lyrics

Hello? Why are you calling my phone again?
Look I told you this was over
I don't wanna hear it
Look, there's nothing you can say
That's gonna change my mind
No, I moved on, what?
Well, I didn't call to have a convo
I just think I might've left
Some of my clothes over your house
Couple shirts and a hat
So if you didn't burn them
Can I get them back?
Now what is you yelling at me for?
I don't give a damn if he's your new boo
You always tryin' ta get loud
That's why we not together now
Listen, I don't give a damn that you moved on
'Cause anything I felt for you, been gone

I was done from the time that you busted my windows
And any time I think about missing you
I remember the stress that you put me through
The time I lost, how much it cost
So now I want you to know
And I swear I don't know
How we lasted that long
You get on my damn nerves
Damn nerves, damn nerves
I'm glad we're not together now
And now I'm alright
'Cause with you everything was all wrong
You get on my damn nerves
Damn nerves, damn nerves
So glad we're not together now
So glad we're not together now
So glad we're not together now
Oh, so glad we're not together now
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I know why you called but it won't work
This ain't 'bout a watch or a T-shirt
But if that's what you wanna stick with
I can have your shit Fed Exed in the mornin'
So I guess this is finished
I guess someone will send it
This should be no reason
You should ever dial my digits
You should never ever have to
Call me up pretending
'Cause baby, I know you're pretending
See, I don't wanna fight 'cause it ain't the point
It's sad that you called just to hear my voice
You should have known I was done
When I busted your windows
'Cause you won't say it
But I know that you need me back
And I'm glad I can say it
I don't need you back
I did my part, you broke my heart
But I won't make the same mistakes again
Oh and I swear I don't know
How we lasted that long
You get on my damn nerves
Damn nerves, damn nerves
I'm glad we're not together now
And now I'm alright
'Cause with you everything was all wrong
You get on my damn nerves
Damn nerves, damn nerves
So glad we're not together now
I ain't gonna lie
I think about if we could try
And make it work one more time
Could we do it?
I'll admit it cross my mind
If it's something we can handle
Then something clicks in time
And I remembered I can't stand you
No, no, no, no, oh, no, no, no, no
And I swear I don't know
How we lasted that long
You get on my damn nerves
Damn nerves, damn nerves
So glad we're not together now
And now I'm alright
'Cause with you everything was all wrong
You get on my damn nerves
Damn nerves, damn nerves
So glad we're not together now

Biography
Contemporary R&B rising star Jazmine Sullivan spent several years learning the ropes of the recording industry before signing to J Records and making her solo recording debut in 2008 with "Need U Bad."

The Philadelphia-based singer/songwriter began her career at a young age, making her national television debut on Showtime at the Apollo at age 11. Jazmine sang at Stevie Wonder's birthday party at age 1l3 and signed to Jive Records at age 15. Her stint at Jive Records only lasted a couple years, however, and she was dropped by the label before any recordings were released. In the wake of this disappointment, she began working behind the scenes, for instance working with Missy Elliott on productions for Fantasia's debut album, Free Yourself (2004), and writing a couple songs for Christina Milian's third album, So Amazin' (2006), including the hit single "Say I." Sullivan was then offered a solo recording contract with J Records, which released her debut single, "Need U Bad," featuring and co-produced by Missy Elliott, in 2008. Fearless, her full-length album debut, featuring productions by Salaam Remi and Stargate, among others, was issued that September. US Singles were Need U Bad, Bust Your Windows and Lions, Tigers & Bears. Dream Big was the fourth single in the US and first single in the UK.

In 2009 Sullivan hit the studio again to record songs for her sophomore record. Released on November 29th, 2010, Love Me Back was a contemporary R&B album with touches of pop, soul, urban dance and a song with a gospel-like chorus. Production was done by Anthony Bell, Missy Elliott, Toby Gad, Chuck Harmony, Cainon Lamb, Los da Mystro, Ne-Yo, No I.D., Prolyfic and Salaam Remi. The first single Holdin' You Down (Going In Circles) peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. The following and final single 10 Seconds reached a high of 18 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart.

On October 7, 2011 J Records along with Arista and Jive disbanded and will from now all release material under RCA Records.

Jazmine's junior effort is expected some time in 2013. Other details about the record are scarce.
