Un-Sweet Sixteen Lyrics

Bang! Bang! on the bathroom door
You say you can't take it anymore
I say let's even out the score
I'm sorry
Fall! Fall! The tears are falling
Ring! Ring! Who's that calling?
Stop! Stop! Stop your bawling
I'm sorryUn-sweet sixteen
Always acting like a beauty queen
Like you're posing in a magazine
Un-sweet sixteen
Un-sweet sixteen
Homecoming queen
Breaking down my self esteem
My un-sweet sixteenShe! She! She only smiled
Smile! Smile! 'cause that's my style
But you acted like a child
Neurotic

Won't let this whole thing go away
'cause you thought that I was out to play
I just don't know what to say
You're psychoticUn-sweet sixteen
Always acting like a beauty queen
Like you're posing in a magazine
Un-sweet sixteen
Un-sweet sixteen
Homecoming queen
Breaking down my self esteem
My un-sweet sixteenRah!Un-sweet sixteen
Always acting like a beauty queen
Like you're posing in a magazine
Un-sweet sixteen
Un-sweet sixteen
Homecoming queen
Breaking down my self esteem
My un-sweet sixteen
Un-sweet sixteen
Un-sweet sixteen
Un-sweet sixteen

Wakefield is a four piece rock band from Mechanicsville, Maryland. Their initial stage as a pop punk outfit, as heard on 2003's "American Made", was both witty and infectious, but was abandoned by the time of their second official release "Which Side Are You On?". The latter record showcases the band's newfound musical maturity and versatility. There was also a band named Wakefield from North Carolina in the mid to late 90s that played alt-rock music.
