Who Are They to Say Lyrics

Feels good
To wonder what I'm doing here
Feels right
Getting smashed with god all nightRelax
Exploit my mind
To each his own king
Within his own tribeDefine for me free at last
We are history
They don't want
No human contrastThey should know
Jekyll shouldn't have to Hyde
Who are you? Who am I?Who said I can't alter my mind?
Who said the puzzle needs each piece?
Who said say your seven Hail Marys?
And who are they to sayYou keep invading me with your
Self-righteous camouflage uniform
Can't you let me be, who I want to be
If I had gills I'd fly

You can't tell me what's rightIf I lose my mind
I wonder what I'd gain tonight
A lunatic, just livin' a real lifeStimulate me try to find me
Who would call it sin
Every Tom, Dick, HarryWho said absence makes the heart grow fonder?
Who said smiling means I'm happy?
Who said I can't scream for mutiny?
And who are they to say
Who are they to sayWho said I can't alter my mind?
Who said the puzzle needs each piece?
Who said say your seven Hail Marys?
And who are they to say

Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Leah Andreone began her musical career early (at the age of 8), singing with her older sisters' band. By the age of 13, she had a job writing commercials and jingles, which lead to writing her own originals. After dropping out of college, Leah began pursuing a record deal as a solo artist while working at a restaurant, all the while honing her act in the clubs of Sand Diego and Los Angeles. She was able to pass along a demo to some RCA record execs who dined at her restaurant, signing Andreone exactly 24 hours later, after witnessing a live performance.
