Wild Winds Lyrics

Heart, be still, my life is changin'
And no more waitin' around to feel okay
Heart, be still, my mind is fadin' out
Into the stars guidin' my wayWhether you leave, whether we love
Whatever you say
Well, but whatever you find
Just know you got time to changeOr maybe it's in our blood
Maybe it's in the air
But somethin' is wakin' up inside
In the early morningWell, maybe we feel the sun
Maybe we're all aware
And maybe all we need just comes
Without any warnin'Oh, and maybe the stars
Are guidin' our lives
They know we love themWe can't live this way forever
Lyin' together, forgettin' who we are
We could leave and search forever
Wild winds keep bringin' us back to where we start

Where the dream light comes apartBe still, baby, can't you see it comin' around?
We still maybe got to figure out somehow
Whether we fight, whether we pause
And make love to that sound
When the dream light comes aroundMaybe it's time to question our eyes
And answer our hearts
Maybe it's time to answer the signs
And break apartMaybe those lines were takin' us out
Draggin' us down
Maybe those times were breakin' our hearts
We're older nowMaybe those stars are shinin' our lights
Givin' us hope
Maybe those stars are guidin' our lives
Bringin' us homeMaybe those lines were takin' us out
And draggin' us down
Maybe those times were breakin' our hearts
We're older nowMaybe those stars are shinin' our lights
Givin' us hope
Maybe those stars are guidin' our lives
Bringin' us homeMaybe those lines were takin' us out
And draggin' us down
Maybe those times were breakin' our hearts
We're older nowMaybe those stars are shinin' our lights
Givin' us hope

Free Energy is a Philadelphia, PA band formed in 2008 which includes Scott Wells, Paul Sprangers, Evan Wells, Sheridan Fox, and Nick Shuminksy. Wells and Sprangers were both in now-defunct Hockey Night. Free Energy broadcasts melodic, hook-laden rock tunes with a heavy dose of bombastic glam and classic dust. Where the similarly hook-tastic Hockey Night was reminiscent of Pavement and Truman's Water, Free Energy shares more similarities with the heroes of old: Thin Lizzy, Cheap Trick, Boston, Fleetwood Mac...
