You Didn't Know Lyrics

We changed the way we lived
And all that we needed was something to give
You said everything's so perfect but you couldn't stay
For me that way, lost all that you'll ever be, to meAnd you didn't know there was no other way
I once saw God but I never found faith
And words hit hard when filled with the truth
Of how I was careless with the best part of you
And you didn't know
Lies are what kept you around
All the years that we wasted for the minutes we found
I don't wanna feel so worthless
I couldn't find the right words to say
Lost all that you'll ever be to meAnd you didn't know there was no other way
I once saw God but I never found faith
And words hit hard when filled with the truth
Of how I was careless with the best part of you
And you didn't knowI refuse to be the one that's gonna live without this
I just wanna find the air you need and hold it inside

I don't wanna be the one that's gonna live without this
Without you I'm lost
Without you I'm lost
And you didn't know there was no other way
I once saw God but I never found faith
And words hit hard when filled with the truth
Of how I was careless with the best part of you
And you didn't knowI don't wanna be the one that's gonna live without this
Without you I'm lost
