Blind Lyrics

White, black, white, black who cares?
Nervous my finger caresses the trigger
Red line is trained on you
And what did you do to deserve this fate
All I see is you were bornOnly slight hesitation move to my kill
Peel off the skin from your skull
And what do I see underneath here
Nothing different I see boneCalling Jesus, calling Jesus
White world, black world
Come and make us colorblind
White world, black world
We should all be blindThis new separation we bring to ourselves
Never conditioned for love
What do you care
What shade I am, the shade of skin I wearCalling Jesus, calling Jesus
White world, black world
Come and make us colorblind
White world, black world

We should all be blindYou ignorant fuckWhat do you see beneath my skin?
Where did all this hatred come in
What do you see? What do you care?
White, black, white, black who cares?White world, black world
White world, black world
White world, black world
...

The Nixons were founded in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by singer/guitarist Zac Maloy, guitarist Jesse Davis, bassist Ricky Brooks, and drummer Tye Robison. The group released their debut EP Six in 1992 (after a obscure self-titled album, probably released in 1990) on Dragon Street Records and replaced the original drummer with John Humphrey before releasing Halo in 1994 on Rainmaker label. This album features several songs also included in Foma, their first official full length record, released out in 1995 on MCA Records.
