Sweet Beyond Lyrics

In the end, I lay the flowers
I lay the flowers downI have bent my rules
That I have laid before me
Fallin' deeper still
Than I ever thought I would and I would againAs we begin this journey
Put your soul with mine
Connected from this moment
Throughout life and death and timeI would show you the deepness
If there was a sea forever
I would bring you the planets
If there was a wayIn the end
If your life I have fail to save
I'll lay the flowers on your graveAs the years surround us
This will stay beautiful
Through the change of appearance
Love remainsI would show you the vastness
If there was a sky never-ending
I would give you the sunlight

If there was a wayIn the end
(I will be here)
If your life I have fail to save
I'll lay the flowers on you graveI'll lay the flowers
I'll lay the flowers
Flowers, flowersI have felt what I never conceived
From here through sweeter beyond
Impossible for words to bring you understanding
I will be the one you'll seeIn the end
(I will be here)
If your life I have fail to saveIn the end
(I will be here)
If before me you should leave this place
I'll lay the flowers on your grave

The Nixons were founded in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by singer/guitarist Zac Maloy, guitarist Jesse Davis, bassist Ricky Brooks, and drummer Tye Robison. The group released their debut EP Six in 1992 (after a obscure self-titled album, probably released in 1990) on Dragon Street Records and replaced the original drummer with John Humphrey before releasing Halo in 1994 on Rainmaker label. This album features several songs also included in Foma, their first official full length record, released out in 1995 on MCA Records.
