Happy Song Lyrics

I would fly away
I would fly to heaven
Tip toe in the back
If I knew where it was atI could smile this way
I could smile forever
A vision in my mind
A place that has no timeCome take me there
While the world is laughing
It looks so sad, come take us there
And I'll show you what it's like
Make it rain, make it rain
Yeah, yeah, yeahI could smell this way
Could go on forever
I'll never clean myself
You can all go straight to hellCome take me there
While the world is burning
It barely turns, come take us there
And I'll show you what it's likeMake it rain, make it rain forever

Make it rain, then I'd stay for dinner
What are we having tonight?
If I can make it rainWhen I close my eyes
I can see forever
Never been myself
And I could never be anybody elseCome take me there
While the world is burning
It barely turns, come take us there
And I'll show you what it's likeMake it rain, make it rain forever
If I could make it rain
Then I'd stay for dinner
Climb to heavenHang me on the wall, she said
They all go down, they all
Make it rain, if I could make it rain
If I could make it rainIf I could make it rain, make it rain forever
I could make it rain, then I'd stay for dinner
Ask your father, ask your mother
Ask your sisters, they all go down
They all make it rain, if I could make it rain
If I could make it rain

The Nixons were founded in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by singer/guitarist Zac Maloy, guitarist Jesse Davis, bassist Ricky Brooks, and drummer Tye Robison. The group released their debut EP Six in 1992 (after a obscure self-titled album, probably released in 1990) on Dragon Street Records and replaced the original drummer with John Humphrey before releasing Halo in 1994 on Rainmaker label. This album features several songs also included in Foma, their first official full length record, released out in 1995 on MCA Records.
