Eucalyptus Lyrics

Let me grow out of your reach
Send me space, its time to breath
Passing hour, day by day
Time to cut my life awayEucalyptus
You can lie
Eucalyptus
You can lie, lie, lie
Eucalyptus
You can lie
Eucalyptus
You can lie, lie, lieYou run me like a machine
Size of heart, this matters to me
Wrapping your hand over my view
This wont work I will arrest youIn the ground, I am safe from your harm
In the light, I will grow right over you
In Edens Garden, my powers amplified
I am weightless, I am off the ground
I need your rescue, dramatic rescueEucalyptus

You can lie
Eucalyptus
You can lie, lie, lie
Eucalyptus
You can lie
Eucalyptus
You can lie, lie, lieIn the ground, I am safe from your harm
In the light, I will grow right over you
In Edens Garden, my powers amplified
I am weightless, I am off the ground
I need your rescue, dramatic rescueEucalyptus
You can lie
Eucalyptus
You can lie, lie, lie
Eucalyptus
You can lie
Eucalyptus
You can lie, lie, lieIn the ground, I am safe from your harm
In the light, I will grow right over you
In Edens Garden, my powers amplified
I am weightless, I am off the ground
I need your rescue, dramatic rescue

Singer/songwriter Michael Rider hailing as a “wonder boy from Richmond” releases the companion piece to early 2014’s “Hidden Treasure”. A less exuberant, introspective, un-mastered “Lost Language” is what Rider comes to deliver as the new title. The twenty-year-old songwriter travels back to his roots of home recordings to illustrate the old b-sides left unreleased from his debut album, 2011’s “Lighthouse”. The results are what listeners would call close to Kate Bush or Tori Amos: confessional, raw, and genuine.
