Forever for Tonight Lyrics

Could I be with you alone?
I'm not sure where this will go
Cause we don't have the time we need
Just enough to make us bleedCause I'll be leaving soon
It's hard to say when I'll return
And I don't want to lead you on
So if you feel the need
Close your eyes and share this dream
It will be eternityForever for tonight
I will be there
To hold you through the night
Forever for tonight
I will love you
Forever for tonight
Forever for tonightAs I look into your eyes
Feelings much too strong for us not to try
And if by chance we lose this fight
Darling we still have tonightSo when I'm far away

I will always be with you
You will never be alone
So if you feel the need
To take my hand and share this night
It will be eternityForever for tonight
I will be there
To hold you through the night
(I'll be there for you babe)
Forever for tonight
I will love you
Forever for tonightSee, I've been broken down
By empty promises
Like a sky without a star
I've been having doubts that I can feel again
But I believe that I will love you
Ohhhhh, yeeaaahForever for tonight
I will be there
To hold you through the night
(I'll be there for you baby)
Forever for tonight
I will love you
Forever for tonight

Blessid Union of Souls is an American rock band from Cincinnati that was formed in 1990 by Jeff Pence and Eliot Sloan. The current touring band members are singer Eliot Sloan (original member), bassist Tony Clark (original member), drummer Shaun Schaefer (Vinyltones), and guitarist Bryan Billhimer (Vinyltones). Two former touring members, keyboard and bassist C.P. Roth and drummer Eddie Hedges, left the band in 2002.

Some of the band's biggest hits include "I Believe," "Hey, Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)," "I Wanna Be There," and "Brother My Brother" which was used in the US release of the first Pokemon movie. Their debut album, "Home," was certified gold by the RIAA in 1995.

In 2000, several of the band's songs were scheduled for use during the production of a film entitled "Standing at the Edge of the Earth" by Fizzle Freak Productions. The film would have co-starred the band's bassist Tony Clark, as well as the rest of the band featured in prominent roles. The film's production was canceled in late 2000 early 2001 due to legal and financial issues.

In 2006, Jeff Pence headed a project in which the band contributed two tracks for "Clutch Hits," a CD that featured a variety of artists singing about the Cincinnati Reds. The songs were entitled "Play Ball" and "Me, Marty, Joe, Ted & Louise." The project was a fund raiser for the Reds Community Fund.
