Stone Glass Window Lyrics

Was conceived outta nuthin'
Always be what I've been
If I focus the real world
One day I might tune it in
Do I have to shout, do I have to wave a gun
Hide my head from the sun screamin' someone anyone
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Tell me why why if you bleed, I'm the one that's gotta bleed
Got me fiendin' for the need to say hey look at me
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
I'm looking for something more than this
Can't see out my stone glass window
Pick me up in your dream life
Wrap me up in your gold
Tease me just like a dog needs a bone
Then throw me out in the cold
Ah....it's time to make a choice but I'm afraid to make some noise

When I hear the silent voice and the voice is telling me
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Cause I'm a man on the run, do I have to wave a gun
Will I end up like the rest where the rest sleep eternally
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
I'm looking for something more than this
Can't sleep on this concrete pillow
I'm looking for something better than this
I'm slipping back to the low....
I'm going down
In my head is the sound
It's the voice of no one....
I'm looking for something more than this
Can't see out my stone glass window
Tehre's gotta be something better that this
I'm slipping back to the low....

Blessid Union of Souls is an American rock band from Cincinnati that was formed in 1990 by Jeff Pence and Eliot Sloan. The current touring band members are singer Eliot Sloan (original member), bassist Tony Clark (original member), drummer Shaun Schaefer (Vinyltones), and guitarist Bryan Billhimer (Vinyltones). Two former touring members, keyboard and bassist C.P. Roth and drummer Eddie Hedges, left the band in 2002.

Some of the band's biggest hits include "I Believe," "Hey, Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)," "I Wanna Be There," and "Brother My Brother" which was used in the US release of the first Pokemon movie. Their debut album, "Home," was certified gold by the RIAA in 1995.

In 2000, several of the band's songs were scheduled for use during the production of a film entitled "Standing at the Edge of the Earth" by Fizzle Freak Productions. The film would have co-starred the band's bassist Tony Clark, as well as the rest of the band featured in prominent roles. The film's production was canceled in late 2000 early 2001 due to legal and financial issues.

In 2006, Jeff Pence headed a project in which the band contributed two tracks for "Clutch Hits," a CD that featured a variety of artists singing about the Cincinnati Reds. The songs were entitled "Play Ball" and "Me, Marty, Joe, Ted & Louise." The project was a fund raiser for the Reds Community Fund.
