Heaven Lyrics

Love without measure
Space without time
Life with no crying
Will one day be mine
Hearts never breaking
Hands that don't fight
Days that don't end with
The darkness of night
The lamb and the lion
Will walk side by side
In a world where freedom
Abides
Windows of glory swing open wide
Shower down blessings
And shine down a light
On my soul
I do believe
Oh, can't you see

That's what Heaven will be like
Oh, that's what Heaven will be
Friends that don't leave you
Smiles that don't fade
Nobody's hurtin'
No one's afraid
No hungry children
Loved ones don't die
No sad farewells
There'll be no more goodbyes
Windows of glory swing open wide
Shower down blessings
And shine down a light
On my soul
I do believe
Oh, can't you see
That's what Heaven will be
All the burdens and longings
We bring to this place
Disappear in the moment
We look at the love on His face
Oh, I do believe
That's what Heaven will be like
That's what Heaven will be
'Cause that's what Heaven will be like
That's what Heaven will be
Ohh, never [Incomprehensible] lonely
Oh, that's what Heaven will be
Ohh, ohh
Oh, that's what Heaven will be
Windows of glory swing open wide
Shower down blessings
And shine down a light
On my soul
Oh, I do believe
That's what Heaven will be
All the burdens and longings
We bring to this place
Disappear in the moment
We look at the love on His face
I do believe
I do believe
That's what Heaven will be
Windows of glory swing open wide
Shower down blessings
And shine down a light
On my soul
Oh, I know
That's what Heaven will be
Oh, that's what Heaven will be

Blessid Union of Souls is an American rock band from Cincinnati that was formed in 1990 by Jeff Pence and Eliot Sloan. The current touring band members are singer Eliot Sloan (original member), bassist Tony Clark (original member), drummer Shaun Schaefer (Vinyltones), and guitarist Bryan Billhimer (Vinyltones). Two former touring members, keyboard and bassist C.P. Roth and drummer Eddie Hedges, left the band in 2002.

Some of the band's biggest hits include "I Believe," "Hey, Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)," "I Wanna Be There," and "Brother My Brother" which was used in the US release of the first Pokemon movie. Their debut album, "Home," was certified gold by the RIAA in 1995.

In 2000, several of the band's songs were scheduled for use during the production of a film entitled "Standing at the Edge of the Earth" by Fizzle Freak Productions. The film would have co-starred the band's bassist Tony Clark, as well as the rest of the band featured in prominent roles. The film's production was canceled in late 2000 early 2001 due to legal and financial issues.

In 2006, Jeff Pence headed a project in which the band contributed two tracks for "Clutch Hits," a CD that featured a variety of artists singing about the Cincinnati Reds. The songs were entitled "Play Ball" and "Me, Marty, Joe, Ted & Louise." The project was a fund raiser for the Reds Community Fund.
