Hey Leonardo Lyrics

She don't care about my car
And she don't care about my money
And that's real good because I don't got a lot to spend
But if I did it wouldn't mean nothin'She likes me for me
Not because I look like Tyson Beckford
With the charm of Robert Redford
Oozing out my earsBut what she sees
Are my faults and indecisions
My insecure conditions
And the tears upon the pillow that I shedShe don't care about my big screen
Or my collection of DVD's
Things like that just never mattered much to her
Plus she don't watch to much T.V.And she don't care that I can fly her
To places she ain't never been
If she really wants to go, I think deep down she knows that
All she has to say is whenShe likes me for me
Not because I hang with Leonardo
Or that guy who played in Fargo

I think his name is SteveShe's the one for me
And I just can't live without her
My arms belong around her
And I'm so glad I found her once again
And I'm so glad I found her once again
Yeah, I'm so glad I found her once againGazing at the ceiling
As we entertain our feelings in the dark
The things that we're afraid of are gonna show us
What we're made of in the endShe likes me for me
Not because I sing like Pavarotti
Or because I am such a hottieI like her for her
Not because she's phat like Cindy Crawford
She has got so much to offer
Why does she waste all her time with me
There must be something there that I don't see, I don't seeShe likes me for me
Not because I'm tough like Dirty Hairy
Make her laugh just like Jim Carrey
Unlike the Cable GuyBut what she sees
Is that I can't live without her
My arms belong around her
And I'm so glad I found her once again
Found her once again, once again
Yeah, I'm so glad I found her once again

Blessid Union of Souls is an American rock band from Cincinnati that was formed in 1990 by Jeff Pence and Eliot Sloan. The current touring band members are singer Eliot Sloan (original member), bassist Tony Clark (original member), drummer Shaun Schaefer (Vinyltones), and guitarist Bryan Billhimer (Vinyltones). Two former touring members, keyboard and bassist C.P. Roth and drummer Eddie Hedges, left the band in 2002.

Some of the band's biggest hits include "I Believe," "Hey, Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)," "I Wanna Be There," and "Brother My Brother" which was used in the US release of the first Pokemon movie. Their debut album, "Home," was certified gold by the RIAA in 1995.

In 2000, several of the band's songs were scheduled for use during the production of a film entitled "Standing at the Edge of the Earth" by Fizzle Freak Productions. The film would have co-starred the band's bassist Tony Clark, as well as the rest of the band featured in prominent roles. The film's production was canceled in late 2000 early 2001 due to legal and financial issues.

In 2006, Jeff Pence headed a project in which the band contributed two tracks for "Clutch Hits," a CD that featured a variety of artists singing about the Cincinnati Reds. The songs were entitled "Play Ball" and "Me, Marty, Joe, Ted & Louise." The project was a fund raiser for the Reds Community Fund.
