Jelly Lyrics

I saw our future in her eyes
We searched for love amidst the lies
I didn't mean to draw her in
To a fight we'll never winAnd I sigh as she becomes like jelly in my hands
Jelly in my hands, jelly in my hands
She becomes like jelly in my hands
Jelly in my hands, jelly in my handsShe told me things I never heard
And I just drank her every word
We swallow all that love can give
'Cause love's the reason that we liveAnd I cry as she becomes like jelly in my hands
Jelly in my hands, jelly in my hands
She becomes like jelly in my hands
Jelly in my hands, jelly in my handsJelly in my hands, jelly in my hands
Jelly in my handsShe crossed our T's with her gazing eyes
Knew it all was finalized
Built this love on sinking sand
And I'm ashamed that I'm afraid to lend a handAs she becomes like jelly in my hands
Jelly in my hands, jelly in my hands

She becomes like jelly in my hands
Jelly in my hands, jelly in my handsJelly in my hands, jelly in my hands
Jelly in my hands

Blessid Union of Souls is an American rock band from Cincinnati that was formed in 1990 by Jeff Pence and Eliot Sloan. The current touring band members are singer Eliot Sloan (original member), bassist Tony Clark (original member), drummer Shaun Schaefer (Vinyltones), and guitarist Bryan Billhimer (Vinyltones). Two former touring members, keyboard and bassist C.P. Roth and drummer Eddie Hedges, left the band in 2002.

Some of the band's biggest hits include "I Believe," "Hey, Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)," "I Wanna Be There," and "Brother My Brother" which was used in the US release of the first Pokemon movie. Their debut album, "Home," was certified gold by the RIAA in 1995.

In 2000, several of the band's songs were scheduled for use during the production of a film entitled "Standing at the Edge of the Earth" by Fizzle Freak Productions. The film would have co-starred the band's bassist Tony Clark, as well as the rest of the band featured in prominent roles. The film's production was canceled in late 2000 early 2001 due to legal and financial issues.

In 2006, Jeff Pence headed a project in which the band contributed two tracks for "Clutch Hits," a CD that featured a variety of artists singing about the Cincinnati Reds. The songs were entitled "Play Ball" and "Me, Marty, Joe, Ted & Louise." The project was a fund raiser for the Reds Community Fund.
