Take a Hand Lyrics

Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let it show
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let her knowTake a hand, take a hand
You've got to let it show
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let her knowOh, turn on your radio
And put your ear to the sweet, sweet music
And take your baby
And hold her in your arms and let the music goAnd if you're feeling like it
Go grab your lover and really rock her
Pull her over and hold her tighter
Hold her tighter, that's what she needsYou've got to
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let it show
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let her knowTurn on the music
And listen to the radio

And grab your baby
And hold her in your arms and let the record goAnd if you're feeling like it
Go grab your lover and really rock her
And pull her over and hold her tighter
Hold her tighter, that's what she needsYou've got to
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let it show
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let her knowYou've got to
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let it show
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let her knowTake a hand, take a hand
You've got to let it show
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let her knowTake a hand, take a hand
You've got to let it show
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let her knowTake a hand, take a hand
You've got to let it show
Take a hand, take a hand
You've got to let her know

Head East was a hard rock quintet originally from south central Illinois, then Champaign, Illinois, USA. They released their first album, Flat as a Pancake, in 1974 on their own record label (Pyramid Records) selling all 5,000 records and 500 eight-tracks produced. A&M was impressed enough to sign the band and re-release the album in 1975 which went gold by 1978. Flat as a Pancake would remain their most popular album spawning two charting singles, the well-known anthem "Never Been Any Reason" and "Love Me tonight", both written by guitarist Mike Somerville.
