Closure Lyrics

Hoo ooh babe
Baby
Hoo hoo ooh
Oh, babe
Oh, babe
Oh, baby, baby, baby, babyWhen did you stop lovin' me?
What did I do so wrong
That you had to leave?
When did you stop wantin' me?
No letters, no call
Girl, you know I'm needyBaby, this thing has to get told
On my mind, my body and soul, baby
(Can't get you out of system)
Out of my head
Out of my future
Out of my bedI hear your name
I see your face
I lose all composure

I need to see you one more time
I need closure
Hoo, ooh
(Hoo, baby, baby)Can we go somewhere, baby
And talk about
All the things I did to stress you out?
(Hoo hoo)
I won't be satisfied
(No way)
Till I understand, why
Why you ain't here in my lifeCan you just give me that much?
(Yeah)
Don't leave me hangin' without a crutchCan't get you out of system?
(Can't get you out)
Out of my head
(Out of my head)
Out of my future
(My future)
Out of my bed
(My bed)I hear your name
(Hear your name)
I see your face
(See your face, babe)
I lose all composure
(Hoo, baby)I need to see you one more time
I need closure
(Ooh closure)
Hoo ooh ooh, closure
(Closure)
Hoo oohWhy, that is the question
(Question)
Every day I ask myself
Since you went away, baby
(Hoo, baby)I wasn't perfect
(Perfect)
Tell me were you
(Were you, babe)
You said, "Everyday I love you"
(You said, you said)Can't get you out of system
(Ooh, hoo)
Out of my head
Out of my future
(No way)
Out of my bed
(No way, baby)I hear your name
(I hear your name)
I see your face
(I see your face, babe)
I lose all composure
(I get all chocked up inside)
I need to see you one more time
I need closure
(Closure)Hoo ooh ooh, closure
(I need to know, why did you leave me, baby)
Hoo ooh ooh, closure
(Why did you go away, baby?)
Hoo ooh ooh, closure
(Why did you pick up and)
Leave me?
I need to see you one more time
(Na na na, na na na, na na na)
I need closure

Gerald Levert (July 13 1966 - November 10 2006) was an rhythm and blues singer, one of several from the musical Levert family. His father, Eddie Levert, is the lead singer of the 1970s soul group The O'Jays. Gerald Levert sang with his brother, Sean Levert, and Marc Gordon in the R&B trio LeVert. He was also a member of LSG, an R&B trio also featuring Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat

During the 1980s and early 1990s, Levert scored big hits with "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)", "Casanova", and "ABC-123" (not to be confused with the Jackson Five hit of the same name). As a solo artist, Gerald's hits included "I'd Give Anything (to Fall in Love)", "You Got that Love", and "Mr. Too Damn Good To You".

Gerald and Eddie collaborated together on many different occasions, and they recorded an album called Father and Son together.

Gerald Levert also sang the chorus on the Chris Rock spoken-word comedy piece, "No Sex (In The Champagne Room)".

In 2005, Levert's daughter Carlysia was featured on an episode of MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen.

Levert passed away due to an apparent heart attack on November 10, 2006. Sister 2 Sister magazine reported that Gerald and his father had just returned from a 10-day trip to South Africa where they had met with Nelson Mandela and were treated like royalty. Upon Gerald's return, he was excited about his upcoming album, which is due early in 2007. Gerald died in his sleep.
