You're A Keeper Lyrics

It started out as a fantasy
But now you're laying next to me
Your conversation stimulates
It's even better than my dream [Incomprehensible]
You grab the oil from the night stand
Music's playing as you rub it in, ooh
I hate to think this has to end
You hush me up, it's just the beginning, ooh
Alright, you win
I know, I'll never love this way again
You told me that your loving was a sleeper
Now I'm for sure, baby you're a keeper
You kiss is like a cotton candy
Ooh, so soft and you look so sweet
And I must say, your foreplay
You never miss a beat
Ooh, I'm inside you, inside you
It's like where it's got to be

In together, we triple
And explodes in ecstasy, oh, oh, oh
Alright, you win
I know, I'll never love this way again
You told me that, your loving was a sleeper
Now I'm for sure, baby you're a keeper, baby, baby, baby
I don't usually cover, no, no
Baby with you, I can't let go
Why you getting up now
And putting on your clothes
Come back here, can't you stay tonight
I'll make you breakfast in bed
Instead of me bein' the player that I am
I'm bein' played instead
Alright, you win
I know, I'll never love this way again
You told me that, your loving was a sleeper
Now I'm for sure, baby you're a keeper
And you can't, you can't leave
Girl, I'll stand outside your house, I'll come up to your door
I'll email all your friends, tell 'em you can't quick me now
Why did you lead me on, then you let me down, no, no, no, no
Why did you put it on me like that
Think that you could take it back, baby
Your love was a sleeper, baby you're a keeper
You ain't going nowhere, nowhere, nowhere, nowhere

Gerald Levert (July 13 1966 - November 10 2006) was an rhythm and blues singer, one of several from the musical Levert family. His father, Eddie Levert, is the lead singer of the 1970s soul group The O'Jays. Gerald Levert sang with his brother, Sean Levert, and Marc Gordon in the R&B trio LeVert. He was also a member of LSG, an R&B trio also featuring Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat

During the 1980s and early 1990s, Levert scored big hits with "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)", "Casanova", and "ABC-123" (not to be confused with the Jackson Five hit of the same name). As a solo artist, Gerald's hits included "I'd Give Anything (to Fall in Love)", "You Got that Love", and "Mr. Too Damn Good To You".

Gerald and Eddie collaborated together on many different occasions, and they recorded an album called Father and Son together.

Gerald Levert also sang the chorus on the Chris Rock spoken-word comedy piece, "No Sex (In The Champagne Room)".

In 2005, Levert's daughter Carlysia was featured on an episode of MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen.

Levert passed away due to an apparent heart attack on November 10, 2006. Sister 2 Sister magazine reported that Gerald and his father had just returned from a 10-day trip to South Africa where they had met with Nelson Mandela and were treated like royalty. Upon Gerald's return, he was excited about his upcoming album, which is due early in 2007. Gerald died in his sleep.
