Nice And Wet Lyrics

Prepare yourself, turn off your phone
And get in position 'cause baby it's on
And it's on
Ain't nothing wrong
With being soaking wet
Ain't nothing wrong
With being soaking wet
Ain't nothing wrong
With being soaking wet
Ain't nothing wrong
With being soaking wet
It's a full moon and love is in the air
Champagne is chilling strawberry bubble bath
I go out of my way just to turn you on
Forget about the TV and throw away the damn phone
My silk pajamas the ones you really like
Are pressed and ready 'cause tonight is your night
So wear that perfume and that black negligee

You don't have to wear nothing just have it your way
A night you won't forget
Come on, gonna keep it nice and wet
A night you won't forget
Gonna keep it nice and wet, come baby, yeah
I know you're ready
For the real deal
I know all the switches
That turns you on
So tonight is the night I'm going to
Flock them all night long
My body's oh so hot
You got me in a sweat
And tonight I promised you
I'll keep it nice and wet
A night you won't forget
I'm gonna keep it nice and wet
A night you won't forget
I'm gonna keep it nice and wet
I got feelings inside
(I really want to give)
I won't be too hard
(I know that you're sensitive)
Girl sit back and relax
(And I'll take you there)
Girl you got to get loose
Why don't you let down your hair?
A night you won't forget
Gonna keep it nice and wet
A night you won't forget
Gonna keep it nice and wet
Prepare yourself, turn off your phone
And get in position 'cause baby it's on
And it's on
Prepare yourself, turn off your phone
And get in position 'cause baby it's on
And it's on
I know you're ready
For the real deal
Oh baby, I'm gonna make it a night you won't forget
Gonna keep it nice and wet
A night you won't forget
Gonna keep it nice and wet
A night you won't forget
Gonna keep it nice and wet
A night you won't forget
Gonna keep it nice and wet
A night you won't forget
Gonna keep it nice and wet
I know you're ready
For the real deal

Gerald Levert (July 13 1966 - November 10 2006) was an rhythm and blues singer, one of several from the musical Levert family. His father, Eddie Levert, is the lead singer of the 1970s soul group The O'Jays. Gerald Levert sang with his brother, Sean Levert, and Marc Gordon in the R&B trio LeVert. He was also a member of LSG, an R&B trio also featuring Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat

During the 1980s and early 1990s, Levert scored big hits with "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)", "Casanova", and "ABC-123" (not to be confused with the Jackson Five hit of the same name). As a solo artist, Gerald's hits included "I'd Give Anything (to Fall in Love)", "You Got that Love", and "Mr. Too Damn Good To You".

Gerald and Eddie collaborated together on many different occasions, and they recorded an album called Father and Son together.

Gerald Levert also sang the chorus on the Chris Rock spoken-word comedy piece, "No Sex (In The Champagne Room)".

In 2005, Levert's daughter Carlysia was featured on an episode of MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen.

Levert passed away due to an apparent heart attack on November 10, 2006. Sister 2 Sister magazine reported that Gerald and his father had just returned from a 10-day trip to South Africa where they had met with Nelson Mandela and were treated like royalty. Upon Gerald's return, he was excited about his upcoming album, which is due early in 2007. Gerald died in his sleep.
