Got Love Lyrics

I want someone that makes me happy
I want someone that I make smile
I want someone with things in common
I want someone to bear my childAnd I want someone that I can cry to
I want someone to cry for me
And I want someone without the drama
See I want someone to love me deep, if youIf you want rain or shine
If you got love you can have mine
You want heart, you want time
If you got love you can have mineI want someone who loves my bad days, yeah
I want someone who's spiritual, yeah yeah
And I want someone to keep my secrets
See I need more than just physicalIf you want rain or shine
If you got love you can have mine
You want heart, you want time
If you got love you can have mineIf you want happy, I'll give you happy baby
If you want kind, I'll give you kind
If you got love, you can have mine

(You can have all of mine, all of mine, all of mine!)Instead of playing games all the time
(All the time, all the time, all the time)
If you got love you can have mine
(Give me your love baby)
(You can have all of mine, if you got love, if you got love baby)If you got love you can have mine
(I'm gonna give you every piece of me, every piece of me)
If you got love you can have mine
(Constantly, constantly)If you got love you can have mine
(If you got love, got love, got love)
(Everything you want, everything that you need baby, baby)
If you got love you can have mine
(It's yours, it's yours, yeah)
(You can have it, you can have it if you want it)You just entered my world, Gerald's World
I'm still looking, I'm still searching for true love
Got love? Well you in the right place
At the right time with the right man
'Cause I aim to please you, stick with me for a little while
We gon' go on a wild ride together, me and you
Gerald's World

Gerald Levert (July 13 1966 - November 10 2006) was an rhythm and blues singer, one of several from the musical Levert family. His father, Eddie Levert, is the lead singer of the 1970s soul group The O'Jays. Gerald Levert sang with his brother, Sean Levert, and Marc Gordon in the R&B trio LeVert. He was also a member of LSG, an R&B trio also featuring Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat

During the 1980s and early 1990s, Levert scored big hits with "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)", "Casanova", and "ABC-123" (not to be confused with the Jackson Five hit of the same name). As a solo artist, Gerald's hits included "I'd Give Anything (to Fall in Love)", "You Got that Love", and "Mr. Too Damn Good To You".

Gerald and Eddie collaborated together on many different occasions, and they recorded an album called Father and Son together.

Gerald Levert also sang the chorus on the Chris Rock spoken-word comedy piece, "No Sex (In The Champagne Room)".

In 2005, Levert's daughter Carlysia was featured on an episode of MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen.

Levert passed away due to an apparent heart attack on November 10, 2006. Sister 2 Sister magazine reported that Gerald and his father had just returned from a 10-day trip to South Africa where they had met with Nelson Mandela and were treated like royalty. Upon Gerald's return, he was excited about his upcoming album, which is due early in 2007. Gerald died in his sleep.
