It's Your Turn Lyrics

Look I've been loving you for a long, long time
Never asked you for much
Just have a open mindCome on, baby, come on, baby
Oh baby, oh babeFor a year or so we've been going strong
I'll stop at nothing girl, just to turn you on
Didn't I do it, baby? Didn't I do it, girl?See I'll do anything just to make you scream
Tell me how low and girl I would go
Didn't I do it, baby? Didn't I do it, girl? It's your turn to do unto me as I do unto you
You got to show and prove that you like my groove
I don't wanna be the only freak around hereSaid, it's your turn to do unto me as I do unto you
You got to show and prove that you like my groove
I don't wanna be the only freak around hereBuy you what you need to get into me
Strawberries whip cream I'll get you some honey
I would do that, baby, I would do that, girlWatch a video, turn on the radio
What's it gonna take to start this freaky show
Are you 'bout it, baby? Are you 'bout it, girl?'Cause baby, baby, it's your turn to do unto me as I do unto you
You got to show and prove that you like my groove
I don't wanna be the only freak around here, babyIt's your turn to do unto me as I do unto you

You got to show and prove that you like my groove
I don't wanna be the only freak around hereIf you're my girl and I'm your man
You got to understand that I got needs, baby
I ain't gonna tell a sound girl, no, no, no, no, no, noSo let your hair down it's time to play
Turn on the music a little bit of Marvin Gaye
Let's get it on, baby, let's get it on, girl
If you don't I gotta go, I gotta go, babySaid you get one, two, three strikes and you're out
Gotta let you go, girl, gotta let you go, girl
Gotta let you go, babe, come onBaby, please don't let me down
Gotta let you go, girl, gotta let you go, girl
Gotta let you go, girl, come onYou get, you get one, two, three strikes and I gotta go
Gotta let you go, girl, gotta let you go, baby
Gotta let you go, babyBaby, please don't let me down
Gotta let you go, girl, gotta let you go, girl
Gotta let you go, girl, come onDo unto me as I do unto you
You got to show and prove that you like my groove
I don't want to be the only freak around hereDo unto me as I do unto you
You got to show and prove that you like my groove
I don't want to be the only freak around hereDo unto me as I do unto you
You got to show and prove that you like my groove
I don't want to be the only freak around hereDo unto me as I do unto you
You got to show and prove that you like my groove
I don't want to be the only freak around here

Gerald Levert (July 13 1966 - November 10 2006) was an rhythm and blues singer, one of several from the musical Levert family. His father, Eddie Levert, is the lead singer of the 1970s soul group The O'Jays. Gerald Levert sang with his brother, Sean Levert, and Marc Gordon in the R&B trio LeVert. He was also a member of LSG, an R&B trio also featuring Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat

During the 1980s and early 1990s, Levert scored big hits with "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)", "Casanova", and "ABC-123" (not to be confused with the Jackson Five hit of the same name). As a solo artist, Gerald's hits included "I'd Give Anything (to Fall in Love)", "You Got that Love", and "Mr. Too Damn Good To You".

Gerald and Eddie collaborated together on many different occasions, and they recorded an album called Father and Son together.

Gerald Levert also sang the chorus on the Chris Rock spoken-word comedy piece, "No Sex (In The Champagne Room)".

In 2005, Levert's daughter Carlysia was featured on an episode of MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen.

Levert passed away due to an apparent heart attack on November 10, 2006. Sister 2 Sister magazine reported that Gerald and his father had just returned from a 10-day trip to South Africa where they had met with Nelson Mandela and were treated like royalty. Upon Gerald's return, he was excited about his upcoming album, which is due early in 2007. Gerald died in his sleep.
