Rancid Lyrics

To the left, to the right
Pressure gridlock eye on the prize
On my knees finally
The irony is you saying pleaseIf you sleep too long the fires go out
You dare to dream and we have no doubt
One ahead one behind
It's physical no cold fish applyJunk in your words don't show in your face
I wait for your face to break
Vicious and clean edge like a razor
Hunting the lazer bladeIt's free to the sweet one the short and the brief one
The silence is dangerous
Show me illusion in all the confusion
Peculiar databaseOpen up what am I?
It's all in the book babe line after line
On my knees finally
The irony is you saying pleaseIf you sleep too long the fires go out
You dare to dream and we have no doubt
Easily voice on the line soothe it to sooth you

Ice down my spine, down my spineEasily as the sign of the time
I'll be waiting on my [Incomprehensible]
Easily as the sign of the time
I'll be waiting on my [Incomprehensible]Easily as the sign of the time
I'll be waiting on my [Incomprehensible]
Easily as the sign of the time
I'll be waiting on my [Incomprehensible]To the left, to the right
Pressure gridlock eye on the prize
On my knees finally
The irony is you saying pleaseIf you sleep too long the fires go out
You dare to dream and we have no doubt
One ahead one behind
It's physical no cold fish applyJunk in your words don't show in your face
I wait for your face to break
Vicious and clean edge like a razor
Hunting the lazer bladeIt's free to the sweet one the short and the brief one
The silence is dangerous
Show me illusion in all the confusion
Peculiar databaseOpen up what am I?
It's all in the book babe line after line, after line
On my knees finally
The irony is you saying pleaseEasily as the sign of the time
I'll be waiting on my [Incomprehensible]
Easily as the sign of the time
I'll be waiting on my [Incomprehensible]Easily as the sign of the time
I'll be waiting on my [Incomprehensible]
Easily as the sign of the time
I'll be waiting on my [Incomprehensible]

Breakbeat Era was a short-lived project that combined the breakbeat talents of Drum and Bass producers Roni Size and DJ Die with the vocals of singer Leonie Laws. Spearheaded by the single Ultra-Obscene, and then released as an album under the same title in 1999. It was one of the first rock/pop/drum&bass fusion albums, a genre which Kosheen also later explored. Since the album seems to be a one-off project, other releases seem unlikely.
