Same Place.. Same Time Lyrics

I don't wanna be alone
Yo I'll be there
Same place same time
I can't stand being without youAs we lay face to face
Sharing love in a temporary place
I got a girl you got a man
If they found outI'm sure they wouldn't understand
See I can't keep myself from wanting you
You see I wanna lay with you
I wanna play with you I wanna stay with youDon't ask me how I can't say why
Why we're here you and I
At the same place at the same timeDon't stop now don't let it end
Girl we must do it again
In the same way at the same timeI want my cake eat it too
Making love to her
I wish I'm making love to you
So here we are we know it's wrongEach moment without you
Baby is too damn long

There's no time to be wasting baby
So let's slip away to our favorite placeDon't ask me how I can't say why
Why we're here you and I
At the same place at the same timeDon't stop now don't let it end
Girl we must do it again
In the same way at the same timeMake sure you got your pumps on
When you come baby come along
I swear I'm gonna keep it hot
Come on give me all you got
It's our secretKeeping it a secret nobody has to know
The things that we do or the places we go
You know what time of eveningYou know just where we meet
It ain't nobody's business
We're keeping it discreetDon't ask me how I can't say why
Why we're here you and I
At the same place at the same timeDon't stop now don't let it end
Girl we must do it again
In the same way at the same time

Gerald Levert (July 13 1966 - November 10 2006) was an rhythm and blues singer, one of several from the musical Levert family. His father, Eddie Levert, is the lead singer of the 1970s soul group The O'Jays. Gerald Levert sang with his brother, Sean Levert, and Marc Gordon in the R&B trio LeVert. He was also a member of LSG, an R&B trio also featuring Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat

During the 1980s and early 1990s, Levert scored big hits with "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)", "Casanova", and "ABC-123" (not to be confused with the Jackson Five hit of the same name). As a solo artist, Gerald's hits included "I'd Give Anything (to Fall in Love)", "You Got that Love", and "Mr. Too Damn Good To You".

Gerald and Eddie collaborated together on many different occasions, and they recorded an album called Father and Son together.

Gerald Levert also sang the chorus on the Chris Rock spoken-word comedy piece, "No Sex (In The Champagne Room)".

In 2005, Levert's daughter Carlysia was featured on an episode of MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen.

Levert passed away due to an apparent heart attack on November 10, 2006. Sister 2 Sister magazine reported that Gerald and his father had just returned from a 10-day trip to South Africa where they had met with Nelson Mandela and were treated like royalty. Upon Gerald's return, he was excited about his upcoming album, which is due early in 2007. Gerald died in his sleep.
