Stuck Lyrics

Do you look forward to me coming home?
Do I make it better?
I know when I'm traveling on the bus
I think of you sweet like dinnerI don't mind all those dopey looks we get
'Cause we stay together
And everybody seems to think there's so much to see
But I think those same people must be jealous of me'Cause if I'm stuck, then at least I'm stuck with you
Don't you know, don't you know that if you're holding on to me
Then you better see it through
'Cause you know, 'cause you knowAll of my friends try to wear me down
But they're just plain vanilla
You know that I almost bought it once
But that was gone in minutesAnd I don't see you like they see their men
They only see saints or sinners
And everybody seems to think it's fun to be free?
But you can keep your freedom, 'cause I got what I needIf I'm stuck, then at least I'm stuck with you
Don't you know, don't you know that if you're holding on to me
Then you better see it through

'Cause you know, 'cause you knowYou should know I think about it
Hear me out before you doubt it
Ain't you got your book of rules
But I'm still more free than youWhen you gonna open and see?
If I'm stuck with you, yeah'Cause if I'm stuck, then at least I'm stuck with you
Don't you know, don't you know that if you're holding on to me
Then you better see me through, yeah
'Cause you know, 'cause you knowIf I'm stuck then, at least I'm stuck with you, yeah
Don't you know, don't you know if you're holding on to me
Then you better see me through
'Cause you know, 'cause you know

Once upon a time there was a girl called Lauren. She lived in grassy, green Madison County, Tennessee where people are as sweet as the tea they make. She'd sing songs in her yard and run around with ballerinas, big kitty cats and her brothers all the livelong day. One winter evening Lauren decided she wanted a change of scenery. She wanted to leave her comfortable grasslands and start a joyride. She traveled far to La La land and danced with the faeries in Beverly Hills, all the while humming along to Bob Marley and playing pianos.
