What Makes It Good to You (No Premature Lovin') Lyrics

heaven knows how i longed for this
ever since we kissed
anticipation is killing me
cause i wanna be your favorite fantasy
won't you talk to me, tell me, where your spot is baby
where ya sensitive
and i want to concentrate, concentrate
on all those things(chorus)
what makes it good to you
i wanna know
i wont be happy til you
scream no more, say it's yours, no premature nothing
what makes it good to you?
And i cant belive
it's about to go down
and i am too
from your head
down down down

until you tell me when to stop (wooo)
cause these lips can't resist kissing you
and your tender body
ooh i don't mind
you gotten me through (you gotten me through)
girl won't you tell me what makes it good(chorus)(bridge)
see i don't wanna get there
before you do
let's put our selves together baby
and now we're gonna cruise
would'nt that be sweet (would'nt that be sweet)
if we came together
every thing was right
from the very first night
said wouldnt that be clever wouldnt that be wouldnt that be
what makes it good to you?(chorus)
adlibing i wanna make you mine, just give me sign when your ready

Gerald Levert (July 13 1966 - November 10 2006) was an rhythm and blues singer, one of several from the musical Levert family. His father, Eddie Levert, is the lead singer of the 1970s soul group The O'Jays. Gerald Levert sang with his brother, Sean Levert, and Marc Gordon in the R&B trio LeVert. He was also a member of LSG, an R&B trio also featuring Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat

During the 1980s and early 1990s, Levert scored big hits with "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)", "Casanova", and "ABC-123" (not to be confused with the Jackson Five hit of the same name). As a solo artist, Gerald's hits included "I'd Give Anything (to Fall in Love)", "You Got that Love", and "Mr. Too Damn Good To You".

Gerald and Eddie collaborated together on many different occasions, and they recorded an album called Father and Son together.

Gerald Levert also sang the chorus on the Chris Rock spoken-word comedy piece, "No Sex (In The Champagne Room)".

In 2005, Levert's daughter Carlysia was featured on an episode of MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen.

Levert passed away due to an apparent heart attack on November 10, 2006. Sister 2 Sister magazine reported that Gerald and his father had just returned from a 10-day trip to South Africa where they had met with Nelson Mandela and were treated like royalty. Upon Gerald's return, he was excited about his upcoming album, which is due early in 2007. Gerald died in his sleep.
